To start, I have a back ground painting with a character going for a midnight exploration.
I had to design some characters for a possible student film and these guys were not selected. The scene is a church with a pastor and a chorister trying to run down a mischievous little goat. As a kid I spent many a Sunday in the huge church of Napier trying to stay awake by imagining wild chase scenes with the ensuing mayhem. I'm very proud of my minister - his mouth is huge and his ears teeny-tiny since I see this character as a guy who talks much and listens not so much.
